Operator and contact

Africa Bulk Hub is operated by Olamide Bello. Privacy contact: dobcalldemo@gmail.com. This notice covers afribulkhub.com and its Android website client. Effective date: October 20, 2026.

Information we process

We store the name, email, password hash, role, organization and country provided for an account; business profiles, team members and preferred interface language and pricing currency; products, stock, RFQs, quotations, service jobs, applications, orders, delivery addresses, messages, uploaded files, reviews, verification submissions, campaign requests, support and dispute records. We also store session and recovery-token hashes, account-acceptance records, login-throttling information and administrative audit records. Hosting servers may log request times, IP addresses, user agents, URLs, response codes and errors for security and operation. Do not submit information you do not have authority to share.

Why we use information

We use it to create and secure accounts, organize tenant workspaces, publish requested listings, exchange commercial information, manage orders and work records, investigate abuse, provide support, preserve evidence and maintain the service. Where applicable, relevant grounds include carrying out requested services, legitimate operational/security interests and legal obligations. We will seek any separate consent required for optional future processing.

Who can see your content

Published products, sourcing requests and jobs are visible publicly. Their attached files can be downloaded by signed-in marketplace users. Private organization records are visible to that organization’s members and, when a transaction or conversation requires it, the relevant counterparty organization. Platform administrators can review records for operations and moderation. Avoid placing sensitive personal, financial or confidential material in public listings or filenames.

Service providers and other disclosure

Hosting and infrastructure providers process information needed to operate the site. Information may be disclosed where lawfully required, to address security incidents, protect rights, or complete an authorized business transition subject to appropriate protections. This version has no third-party advertising/analytics SDK, payment processor, automated external identity-check service, email/SMS delivery integration or translation service connected. If these change, the notice and relevant choices must be updated before the new processing starts. We do not sell personal information in the current implementation.

Cookies and Android storage

An essential HttpOnly session cookie maintains sign-in; sessions expire after approximately 12 hours unless invalidated sooner. Your interface-language and default-currency choices are stored in browser localStorage and, when signed in, in your account. The Android WebView uses its own website cookies and storage. The app requests internet access and does not request contacts, microphone, camera, precise location or broad file-storage permission. It has no native advertising identifier integration or background notification service. Files you choose to upload to the website are processed under this notice; unsupported upload/download flows can be opened in the external browser.

Retention and security

We keep account and commercial records while needed to operate the service and for legitimate legal, security and dispute purposes, then review deletion or de-identification requests. There is no fixed automatic deletion period in this version. Backups may retain earlier records until their retention cycle ends. Passwords use salted scrypt hashes; access checks restrict private records and HTTPS protects production transport. No security measure is absolute. Uploaded-file signature checks are not malware scanning.

Your choices and requests

You can edit your profile and delivery addresses, change your password and manage your organization’s content. Ask support or email the privacy contact for access, correction, export, deletion, closure, an objection or restriction request, or information about a particular record. We may need to verify identity and authority, protect other people’s information and retain records where lawfully necessary. Applicable rights and response periods depend on the law that applies; you may also contact a competent data-protection regulator.

International use and third-party links

The marketplace is accessible across countries and may store or process information where the operator or hosting providers operate. Contact us for current hosting/transfer details. External websites and counterparties independently control information you share with them; review their privacy practices before use.

Children and updates

The service is intended for adults acting for businesses, not children. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information so we can review and take appropriate action. We will publish changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
